Promoting the interests of the IHPA membership primarily at the Iowa Legislature but also in Washington, D.C.  This representation involves monitoring, introducing and facilitating legislation that promotes the Honey Bee and Beekeeping. All decisions on legislative positions is made entirely by the IHPA membership and it's leadership directives.  This is a volunteer position.
